Description

POWERDECK B is an insulation board with a core of rigid polyisocyanurate foam with a specific cell structure also called TAUfoam by Recticel. This insulation board is faced with a mineral coated glass fleece on the back side and a bituminous glass fleece with a film in polypropylene on the front side.

-Transformation under the influence of a load: DLT(2)5 according to EN 1605 40 kPa, at 70°C during 168 hours: < 5%

Vapour diffusion resistance number µ of the TAUfoam: 50-100

Facing

Back: mineral coated glass fleece
Front: bituminous glass fleece with a film in polypropylene of appr. 400g/m²

Tensile strength perpendicular to surface TR80 according to EN1607  > 80kPa

Long-term water absorption: WL(T)2 according to EN 12087 < 2%

Applications

Mainly flat roof insulation constructed with steeldeck on which a partially bonded bituminous waterproofing is applied (hot bitumen torched on).
