Recticel has the know-how and the software to make a technical study of a construction element (floor, wall or roof) for a certain interior climate.

For a roof construction, we can determine the following:

• necessity of a vapour control layer
• the type of vapour control layer (E1, E2, E3 or E4)

We recommend to have a technical study made, especially for thermal roof renovation projects where the existing waterproofing is used as vapour control layer and the roof has already been insulated.

The following information is necessary to make a technical study :

• detailed build up of the construction element (type of material of the different layers, as well as their thickness)
• purpose of the building (private home, sports centre, …) or the interior climate (temperature and relative humidity)
