Eurothane Silver Delivers "A"rated Sustainability

The Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation which is at the heart of Recticel Eurothane Silver, produced by Recticel Insulation Products, has achieved an ‘A’ rating in the Green Guide to Specification, produced by the British Research Establishment (BRE). The Guide assesses products in terms of their environmental impact from cradle-to-grave within comparable specifications. The ratings range from A+ to E, with E being the worst performance

Recticel PIR products deliver excellent thermal performance achieved at a very low density compared to other insulation types. The energy used in the manufacture of Recticel products is repaid many times over, once installed, during the lifetime of the building.

As well as environmental credentials, the product performance of Recticel products are enhanced and confirmed by voluntary Keymarking, ensuring that the product is always of a premium quality.

Suitable for use under all types of single ply membranes, Eurothane Silver can be fixed to most metal decks with just six fixings as opposed to other boards which often require 11. The unique manufacturing process makes for a very stable, strong, and flat board. With a minimum compressive strength of 200 kPa and a 280kPa typical performance, Eurothane Silver is one of the strongest boards of its type. This contributes to an extremely strong and aesthetically pleasing roof finish under modern thin single ply membranes.
