Technical assistance

At Recticel Insulation Products we pride ourselves in the quality of our technical service, providing accurate, rapid and impartial advice. We continuously develop our systems to ensure up to date knowledge of Building Regulations/Standards, construction methods, codes of practice and product and building Standards. We also actively develop new products in the light of ever more onerous Building Regulation requirements.

Our technical service offers advice on the following:

• U-value calculations in accordance with BS EN ISO 6946 and BRE Report 443, 'Conventions for U-value calculations'. BR443 is available to download from the BRE website.

• Condensation analysis in accordance with the requirements of BS 5250 and BS 6229. 

• Advice on compliance with British Standards and the Building Regulations.

• Site visits are available to provide on-site assistance and advice where necessary.

• Product and technical training packages.
