Greater emphasis is being placed on the accurate assessment of thermal bridging. Designers are increasingly using calculated psi-values or recognised construction details rather than relying on default thermal-bridging assumptions, as these can make compliance with Part L and the Future Homes Standard more difficult to achieve.
