Why CCPI matters to us
Poor or inconsistent product information has real consequences in construction for safety, for compliance, and for trust between manufacturers, specifiers and installers. CCPI gives us a framework to make sure the information we publish about our PIR insulation range is:
- Clear - written so it can't be misread or misapplied
- Accurate - reflecting genuine, current test data and performance
- Accessible - easy to find, not buried or gatekept
- Up to date - revised the moment a product, standard or certification changes
- Unambiguous - free of vague or misleading claims
We hold ourselves to this standard because the people specifying and installing our products are making decisions that affect building safety for years to come. That's not something we take lightly.

Please use images from the library as supplied, rather than sourcing your own or editing them, so the imagery stays consistent with what's shown on our own site.

Always use the text as it's displayed on our product pages. That wording has gone through our CCPI review process, so it's the version we can stand behind as accurate and current.
To keep information consistent across every site that references us, please:
- Use current product names and descriptions exactly as they appear in our latest technical literature
- Quote performance data (lambda values, U-values, fire ratings) only from the most recent published documents
- Avoid making claims about applications, certifications or approvals Recticel Insulation UK hasn't confirmed in writing
- Link back to our technical documentation or product pages wherever possible, rather than reproducing full specifications on your own site - that way, your customers always see the current version

The CCPI mark shown against our products reflects Recticel Insulation UK's own assessment for that specific product set and cannot be used or reproduced by distributors, merchants or partners as their own.

Construction law & regulations
Can I say a product is "CCPI-assessed" even if I can't display the mark?
Yes, as long as it's accurate and reflects our current published status. Just don't reproduce the mark itself or imply your company holds an assessment it hasn't gone through.
Can I use the CCPI mark on my own website?
Not our product mark, no. Manufacturer marks and Merchant & Distributor marks are two separate things under CCPI. If you want your own CCPI mark to display, you'd need to complete the separate four-clause Merchant & Distributor assessment yourself. See the note above for more detail.
What does it mean when a Recticel Insulation UK product carries the CCPI mark?
It means that specific product set has been assessed by CCPI's appointed assessor, on a "trust and approve" basis, against the eleven manufacturer clauses of the Code, and found to conform based on the evidence we submitted. The mark is time-limited and applies only to that product set, not to our whole range automatically.
What if I'm not sure whether a product is currently CCPI-assessed?
Check the product list on this page, or contact us directly. Assessed status can change as products are added, reassessed or updated, so it's worth confirming before publishing anything that references it.
What is CCPI?
The Code for Construction Product Information. It's a framework developed by the Construction Products Association, following Dame Judith Hackitt's Building a Safer Future report, to make sure product information in construction is clear, accurate, accessible, up to date and unambiguous. It's overseen by an independently governed body, Construction Product Information Ltd.
