As HR Manager Belgium, you will be responsible for the overall HR strategy and operations across the Belgian organization. You will report directly to the CHRO and lead a team of HR professionals located across multiple sites.
You will act as a strategic business partner to management and play a key role in the further development of the organization. In doing so, you combine strategic insight with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and actively contribute to the continued professionalization, integration, and growth of Recticel.
As an ambassador of transformation, you will support both employees and managers throughout key change initiatives and help build a high-performing, future-oriented organization.

Business Partnering
- Build and lead an actionable people strategy and plans aligned with business objectives for both white-collar and blue-collar populations.
- Provide strategic and operational advice, coaching, HR expertise, and guidance on key people decisions in support of enterprise and functional strategies.
Transformation and Change Management
- Lead and manage transformation initiatives across the organization (with a particular focus on Tournai) to enable the strategic shifts required to support and accelerate the company’s growth ambitions.
- Optimize HR structures and processes to enhance organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
HR Operations and Talent Management
- Oversee HR activities including, but not limited to, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, talent management & succession planning, and also compensation & benefits.
- Drive a stronger focus on soft HR topics and expand initiatives related to employer branding, learning and development (L&D), and employee experience.
Employee and Industrial Relations
- Advise, support, coach, and facilitate the resolution and management of employee relations matters, including performance issues, grievances, and disciplinary procedures.
- Take a leadership role in interactions with Works Councils and other employee representative bodies.
Jouw profiel
- At least 10 years of experience in a broad HR management role, with a proven track record in a manufacturing or production environment. Previous experience with soft HR topics is a strong asset.
- Experience leading an HR team within a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated experience in leading organizational transformation initiatives.
- Proven ability to review, redesign, and optimize HR policies, structures, and processes.
- Solid experience with social dialogue, works councils, and trade unions.
- Personality is key: a mature, dynamic, hands-on, and proactive professional.
- Willingness to travel regularly to sites across Belgium (all within approximately one hour driving distance), with a particular focus on Wevelgem and Tournai.
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
