As production manager you coordinate the manufacturing team to execute the production planning on time, at cost and with high quality to serve customer requirements. Throughout the production process your first priority is to guarantee the safety of yourself, your team and anybody impacted by the business activities.
You focus on continuous improvement of the production process in compliance with QHSE and corporate policies to achieve performance objectives.
Jobomschrijving
- You ensure consistent delivery of all production KPI’s across all shifts. You ensure understanding and ownership is cascaded throughout the area of responsibility
- You create a continuous improvement culture in order to ensure opportunities for improvement are captured an implemented in a timely and cost effective way. This improvement can be people, process of system related
- You take ownership and are accountable for all production activities and QSHE topics of the production. You are the center of the operational arena and you work very close with maintenance, production planning, process engineering, quality department and HR.
- You are a strong leader and you coach your team to achive the highest performance level.
- You undertake personnel appraisal, performance management and development activities. You ensure all production staff are qualified and equipped to deliver the business strategy
Jouw profiel
- You have a master degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
- You have experience in a managerial role. Through your communication and drive you can convince people, bring about changes and persevere to implement actions.
- You master lean and continuous improvement techniques or tools . You are used to work in an SPC environment and you master standard problem solving techniques.
- You are a people manager who can stimulate the talent within your teams, strive for results and challenge performance. You can build engaged teams by attracting, leading, coaching, motivating and developing people.
- You are analytical and a real problem solver
- You understand and control technical and process parameters to deliver optimum quality
- You are organized, confident and mature in approach.
- Languages: Dutch and English
