Legal counsel corporate & commercial

Your responsabilities:

• To ensure the corporate administration of the Belgian listed company and the other Belgian entities, as well as the coordination and follow-up on the corporate administration of other group entities worldwide;
• To provide advice, organize, and/or draft corporate documentation, powers of attorney, minutes of board of director and shareholder meetings, and related planning;
• To assist in the corporate law aspects and administration linked to group and/or local financing agreements, i.e. guarantees, pledges, and related administration;
• To coordinate at Group level all transactional real estate files, such as purchase, sale, leasing, rent, etc. and review or draft related documentation;
• To manage real estate linked environmental files;
• To manage complex litigation on a worldwide level, in close coordination with external counsel;
• To provide advice on various commercial topics, such as commercial practices, competition law, data protection, etc.;
• To draft complex commercial contracts of all types.

Your profile:

• You hold a Master degree in Law. An additional degree in corporate law would be considered as a plus, as would be some financial expertise.
• You have 2 to 5 years of experience as a legal counsel or as a business lawyer in corporate and/or commercial law.
• You are fluent in Dutch, English and French.
• You are result oriented, service driven, flexible, hands-on, pro-active and pragmatic.
• You are eager to learn and to develop your knowledge.
• You are a good communicator.
• You are a team player.
