Area Sales Manager

We are currently looking to recruit a Area Sales Manager for North West & Midlands

The purpose of this role is to further develop the profitable sales of Recticel Insulation products to defined customer trade sectors including Contractors, Distributors & Merchants.

The key accountabilities for this role are:-

1. To ensure the appropriate level of coverage is given to both buying and potential customers within the customer platform.

2. Communicate, liaise and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of sustainable profitable growth and customer relationships

3. To actively manage and develop the growth of key products/applications to the specific sectors within the sales territory. You will be expected to provide accurate and timely management information, to include: Target focussed action plans, activity reports, forecasts and KPI's.

4. Effectively analyse, implement and control the sales opportunities within the territory.

5. Develop specific value propositions based on the account's critical success factors.

Skills and competencies:

Strong sales skills competence e.g. positive opening, probe, identifying opportunities and needs, support and close.

Understands the business reasons behind our strategy and link it to daily work.

Identifies opportunities to maximise customer service and translate into sales e.g. new product application opportunity. Able to develop plans to further penetrate e.g. key accounts / job sites.

Effective time & territory management, e.g. time management, high potential prospects, sales of new products, key projects.

Communicate regularly and effectively with colleagues - share leads and opportunities with colleagues. Strong communication skills - internal and external

Seeks out opportunities to learn and develop. Seeks feedback from customers and colleagues. Works to strengthen development areas. Understands the skills and competencies needed to progress further within current or future roles. prepared to adopt/adapt best practice wherever originates.

Maintenance Technician

We are currently looking to recruit a mechanically biased Maintenance Technician (Weekends). The shift pattern is 3 x 12 hour shifts; Friday, Saturday & Sunday, between the hours of 6am and 10pm.

You will work within a team of approx. 12 other technicians. You will closely support a production shift in a continuous multi-stage process, complete shift handovers, drive line performance and availability, and work on Continuous Improvement activities.

Ongoing training and education to improve skills levels is a requirement, and is expected to be embraced in order to optimise flexibility, skills and performance.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Education level & general experience:

Time served apprenticeship with appropriate evidence of a firm electrical/mechanical/PLC type qualification

Minimum of 3 years practical experience ‘post apprenticeship’.

Formal engineering qualifications such as ONC, City and Guilds, (or equivalent), are required

Experience of working in a Chemical process COMAH regulated site is a distinct advantage

The following Technical knowledge/expertise would be advantageous:

Experience working in a continuous production environment is essential, preferably in chemical processing

Working knowledge of Siemens PLC

Previous experience in PU production plants: metering lines, sawing, dust exhaust, Gas and dust zoning and Hazop studies are desirable.

Pneumatics and hydraulics experience essential

Competencies:

Flexibility is essential. The reactivity and mutual support within the department has an impact on business performance and therefore flexibility is a must.

The ability to consider issues that arise with a logical approach, working under your own initiative and applying fault finding skills, often under time pressures, is important. Just as important however, is the knowing that you need to call for help at the appropriate time.

The ability to link your own activity to the objectives of the business is required

This role attracts a salary of up to £35.500
